Biography
I am a Senior Contract Manager and Manager Mentor for Kamans Art Shoppes. I currently manage our accounts at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pa & Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, Pa. I have been with this company for 26 years.
I started as a Portrait Artist at Sea World in Cleveland, Ohio and have also worked at the former Gueaga Lake and Six Flags in Cleveland, Oh. Worked a season at Kings Island in Cincinatti, Ohio; Knottsberry Farm in Anaheim, California and Sea World in Orlando Florida. I have mentored and helped at many other amusement parks as well including, Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio; Rhode Island Zoo in Providence, Rhode Island,; Six Flags in Jackson, NJ; Dorney Park in Allentown, Pa and a few others I may be missing....
I work directly with other entertaiment companies as well such as Neon Entertainment, Mr. B Entertainment, and Entertainment Avenue to name a few.
I do many art forms but my expertise is Portrait Artistry, hand cut Silhouette Artistry, Airbrush Artistry, Face Painting, Henna Tattoos, and working on my Caricatures!
I manage, hire, train and do all aspect of running a business including purchasing, inventory, payroll, and HR duties.
My favorite aspect is mentoring and training new artists and leaders.
I graduated from Kent State University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communications and also in the sorority Delta Zeta during that time where I held the positions of Philanthropy and Social External Chairs where I planned many events.
I have also volunteered for many organizations to help organize charity events as well.
I love all aspects of art and working with the artist community. I am excited to network in new areas and organizations and help use my skill sets to inspire and grow the love of the arts!
