Biography
My caricature adventure started when I was doing exposure therapy to conquer my severe panic attacks/agoraphobia. I didn’t leave the house for 6 years and I had enough! I would bring a sketchbook with me every time while I was pushing myself to leave the house. I drew like crazy during that time and quickly fell in love.
I would dream about doing live caricature during that time. Getting to meet people, find funny things to draw about them, and giving them a fun gift to remember.
And I ended making that dream become a reality.
After getting more confident with getting out of the house, my journey took me to Helen, Georgia where I met Bobby Morris. He invited me to draw caricatures with him. Little did we know this decision would become a lasting business move. This is how The ToonHeadz started.
Bobby and I had many adventures and slowly started to gain traction with our company. Next thing we know, we started contracting out other artists for festivals and gigs. It was working! We wanted a company that celebrated creativity, professionalism, and most of all the love for caricature.
Now we have over 20 dedicated artists to our ToonHeadz Team and keep growing each year. I’m not only proud of each artist that works with us, but also the growth we have made in the Atlanta market.
