Biography
I'm Don Pinsent, currently operating in Halifax, Nova Scotia area as a caricaturist-for-hire, under the business name Caricatures by Don. I've been doing so since the summer of 1996, first in Toronto, Ontario before moving to Halifax in 2001. I'm also a 2D animator (most of my experience is in Flash, though I am also trained and experienced as a traditional animator), but my greatest passion is for the art of caricature! I strive for a fairly heavily exaggerated style, seeing exaggerations not as mockery of a person's "flaws", as many do, but as a fun way to look at one's distinguishing features.
