Biography
Born in ROMANIA in 1963, Graduate of Fine Arts, Dan moves to FRANCE in 1990.

As a sculptor, he works to the restoration of historical monuments on the most beautiful buildings of Paris, like The Louvre, The Basilica St.Denis, Opera, The Conservatory of Arts and Crafts, The Church St. Bernard for listing just a few.

In 1992 he fell in love with the Caricature and we met him in various Caricature Festivals and Festivals in France and abroad.

Many public prizes and special prizes were awarded to him and his work has been exhibited at the Caricature Festival of St. Esteve(France), The Portrait and Caricature Festival in Ancona (Italy), the Graphic Arts Festival Festival in Gan (France), The Week-End Cartoon Festival (Ireland), The Caricature Festival in Castelnaudary (France), The Caricature Festival in Tourtrol (France), The Festival of Humour and Editorial Cartoons in St.Just Le Martel (France) and few publications around the world showcased his work.

In 1998 he created CARICATURE PLANET (http://www.caricatureplanet.com), a caricature website, where he listed e artists, illustrators and press cartoonists from around the world, as well a directory with the festivals dealing with the subject.

He is also a graphic designer and a big fan of computer science.
For about 5 years he teached Web Development and Graphic Design at "IDEM Formation" a CREATIVE ARTS SCHOOL (France) and Fine Arts Approach in a local center in Palau Del Vidre (France).

He moved to U.S.A. in 2009 and he joined ISCA in 2010 from where he brought home several prizes, from his very first convention in Las Vegas (Nevada):
Best Likeness, Outstanding Black&White Technique abd The 7th place Caricaturist of the year.

From Saint Pete Beach (Florida), at the 20th and 22nd Conventions, he brought home another two rewards:
3rd and 4th Place Caricature of the Year.

Also, for few years he was the Webmaster for the ISCA website, and served on the ISCA Board as Secretary.
