Faces On The Go (16)

This is a mix of people we see on the streets, and friends we share time with in daily life. We’ll plan to add more soon.
While we do work a few rallies, we generally don’t actively seek events. Our stuff happens “on the go” on the hood of a car, a park bench, the back of a motorcycle, a restaurant, etc.
Mostly, we go out with our sketchpad, iPad, and iPhone. We walk around a lot, keeping our eyes open. We meet folks, talk a little, and listen a lot. And with pen in hand, we have permission to look carefully at their faces.
When we’ve had enough, we go back to the barn (yes, our studio is in an old barn in a legendary swamp) to finish off the drawings. Sometimes we can — and sometimes, not so much! But it’s a lot of fun for us either way!
