Biography
In 2004 I dropped out of grad school to pursue a calling in art. With nothing more than a marker, a couple pieces of paper, and the Holy Spirit, I survived an entire year on the edge of the Gobi desert, slashed my way through the jungles of east Africa, then ran away with the circus, before finally landing in Nashville Tennessee in 2015.
In addition to a somewhat predictable living wage, the caricature trade gave me access to the greatest family on the planet: caricature artists. Primarily a studio painter these days, I've nevertheless vowed to draw caricatures as competently as possible whenever called upon, because as know: “a caricature is forever.”
