Biography
I have been drawing caricatures in Las Vegas for over 20 years, and I can honestly say, I think I have the best job! Reactions to my art alone, make it all worth while! Allowing my style to grow and change through the years has formed not just my art but my entire personality as well. I’ve always said, “When you draw cartoons long enough, you basically become one!” At the age of 15, my career in caricatures started on Fremont St., working for Buddy Rose Caricatures. I was, at that time, the youngest female caricature artist in Nevada. Later, I worked for several years at the stand at the top of the Stratosphere Tower. Now, I work for myself, drawing for parties and conventions throughout the valley. In my other time, I can be found set up on the Las Vegas Strip, in front of P.F. Chang’s at Planet Hollywood. When I’m there, I almost always bring a ferret or two for guests to cuddle with while I draw.
