Don has been working as a freelance caricaturist since 1996, after practicing the art for another 10 years or so before that, and drawing in general ever since he was old enough to pick up a thing that could make a mark on another thing.

Don hires himself out for parties as well as doing commission caricatures from photos (usually via e-mail), which make fantastic, unique gifts for absolutely any occasion! Well, except maybe funerals. Maybe. In addition, Don can usually be found operating a caricature stand at The Halifax, Nova Scotia waterfront during the summer months.

Don considers his caricature style to be more on the exaggerated end, inspired by the likes of Sebastian Kruger, Jan Op de Beeck and the Spitting Image puppets of 80s British TV.

Don is also an animator and character designer, and has even designed the occasional corporate logo.
